Italian Jasmine Paolini moved into the second round of the Zhengzhou Open by beating Japanese lucky loser Moyuka Uchijima 6-2, 6-3 at Zhongyuan Tennis Training Base Management Center on Monday.
Paolini, ranked No 31, will face No 6 seed Caroline Garcia next.
