Zhengzhou Open: Krejcikova advances to quarter-finals
Barbora Krejcikova won against Petra Martic 7-5, 6-1 on Thursday and will face Ukrainian qualifier Lesia Tsurenko in the next round

No 7 seed Barbora Krejcikova advanced to the quarter-finals of the Zhengzhou Open by winning against Croat Petra Martic 7-5, 6-1 at Zhongyuan Tennis Training Base Management Center on Thursday afternoon.
Krejcikova, ranked No 18, will face Ukrainian qualifier Lesia Tsurenko next.
In the previous round of the Zhengzhou tournament, Martic, ranked No 45, beat Pole Magda Linette (7-6 (5), 6-1).
