Zhengzhou Open: Jabeur beats Bronzetti – but then pulls out of the tournament
Ons Jabeur defeated Lucia Bronzetti 6-3, 7-6 (5) on Thursday and will play the winner of the match between Chinese wildcard Zhuoxuan Bai and Russian Daria Kasatkina, the No 8 seed, in the next round
Tunisian Ons Jabeur, the No 4 seed, won against Italian Lucia Bronzetti 6-3, 7-6 (5) to move into the quarter-finals of the Zhengzhou Open at Zhongyuan Tennis Training Base Management Center on Thursday.
Jabeur, ranked No 7, would have faced Daria Kasatkina next – but pulled out of the tournament shortly after the match.

Bronzetti, ranked No 63, beat Chinese wildcard Hanyu Guo (7-5, 6-1) in the previous round of the Zhengzhou tournament.
