Italian Lucia Bronzetti beat Chinese wildcard Hanyu Guo 7-5, 6-1 to advance to the second round of the Zhengzhou Open at Zhongyuan Tennis Training Base Management Center.
Bronzetti, ranked No 63, will face No 4 seed Ons Jabeur next.
