Spaniard Nuria Parrizas Diaz, the second seed, won against qualifier Ipek Oz 6-0, 6-1 to reach the quarter-finals of the Zavarovalnica Sava Ljubljana on Wednesday afternoon.
Parrizas Diaz, ranked No 94, will face Italian Nuria Brancaccio next.
In the previous round, the 33-year-old Spaniard beat Slovak Viktoria Hruncakova (6-1, 6-4).
Oz, ranked No 260, edged out Slovenian wildcard Ziva Falkner (6-4, 5-7, 7-5) in the 32.
