Wuhan Open: Potapova through to second round
Anastasia Potapova edged out Katie Volynets 5-7, 6-3, 7-5 on Monday. She’ll play second seed Jessica Pegula in the next round
Russian Anastasia Potapova edged out American wildcard Katie Volynets 5-7, 6-3, 7-5 to advance to the second round of the Wuhan Open at the Optics Valley International Tennis Center on Monday.
Potapova, ranked No 38, will face second seed Jessica Pegula next.
