Wuhan Open: Pera reaches second round
Bernarda Pera defeated Irina-Camelia Begu 6-2, 4-6, 6-2 on Monday. She’ll face No 8 seed Daria Kasatkina in the next round
American qualifier Bernarda Pera advanced to the second round of the Wuhan Open by defeating Romanian Irina-Camelia Begu 6-2, 4-6, 6-2 at the Optics Valley International Tennis Center on Monday.
Pera, ranked No 95, will play No 8 seed Daria Kasatkina next.
