American Amanda Anisimova beat Spanish qualifier Cristina Bucsa 6-2, 6-4 to reach the second round of the Wuhan Open at the Optics Valley International Tennis Center on Tuesday.
Anisimova, ranked No 39, will play the winner of the match between Armenian Elina Avanesyan and Ukrainian Marta Kostyuk, the No 13 seed, next.
