WTA Hobart: Local wildcard Saville knocks out Kenin

Australian wildcard Daria Saville moved into the last eight of the Hobart International by beating American Sofia Kenin, the No 6 seed, 7-6 (3), 6-1 at the Hobart ’s Domain Tennis Centre on Wednesday night.
Saville, ranked No 195, will face Chinese Lin Zhu, the No 3 seed, next.
The Australian edged out Russian Anna Blinkova (3-6, 6-4, 6-4) in the previous round of the Hobart tournament.
During the first round of the Hobart tournament, Kenin, ranked No 38, won against Belgian Greet Minnen (6-3, 6-3).
