Alert: Anett Kontaveit edges Maria Sakkari in three sets to reach WTA Finals title match
The Estonian rallied from a break down in the third set to defeat Sakkari in a tense battle.

Anett Kontaveit reached her biggest career final at the AKRON WTA Finals in Guadalajara, defeating Maria Sakkari 6-1, 3-6, 6-3 on Tuesday evening. Kontaveit continues her run of torrid tennis – she has now won 29 of her last 32 matches.
The Estonian is the first woman from her country to ever reach the WTA Finals – she will face Garbine Mugruza for the title on Wednesday evening.
