WTA Auckland: Parks sets up Osaka clash in semi-finals
The American defeated countrywoman Katie Volynets 6-1, 6-4 in the quarter-finals

American Alycia Parks reached the last four of the ASB Classic by winning against No 8 seed Katie Volynets 6-1, 6-4 at the ASB Tennis Arena on Saturday.
Parks, ranked No 82, will face Japanese Naomi Osaka, the No 7 seed, later on Saturday.
In the previous round of the tournament, Parks defeated No 3 seed Amanda Anisimova (2-6, 6-2, 6-3) and Belgian Greet Minnen (7-5, 6-3).
Volynets, ranked No 58, beat Russian Erika Andreeva (6-4, 6-7 (6), 6-2) and Ann Li (6-4, 6-3) earlier in the week.

- Clara Tauson (5) beat Madison Keys (1): 6-4, 7-6 (7)
- Naomi Osaka beat Hailey Baptiste: 6-7 (2), 6-1, 6-2
- Robin Montgomery beat Bernarda Pera: 6-4, 6-4
