WTA Adelaide: Ostapenko eliminates Cirstea in three sets
The former Roland-Garros champion will meet Frenchwoman Caroline Garcia in the next round

Latvian Jelena Ostapenko, the No 6 seed, advanced to the second round of the Adelaide Open by edging out Romanian Sorana Cirstea 2-6, 6-2, 6-4 at the Memorial Drive Tennis Park on Tuesday.
Ostapenko, ranked No 12, will play Frenchwoman Caroline Garcia next for a spot in the quarter-finals.
