Spanish lucky loser Sara Sorribes Tormo defeated qualifier Linda Noskova 6-3, 3-6, 6-3 to advance to the second round of the Mubadala Abu Dhabi Open at the International Tennis Centre, Zayed Sports City on Tuesday night.
Sorribes Tormo, ranked No 54 in the world, will face No 4 seed Barbora Krejcikova next.
