New Zealander qualifier Lulu Sun advanced to the second round of the Western & Southern Open by winning against Linda Noskova 6-4, 7-6 (4) at the Lindner Family Tennis Center in Cincinnati on Tuesday evening.
Sun, ranked No 64, will face the winner of the match between Belgian Elise Mertens and Ukrainian Marta Kostyuk, the No 15 seed, next.
