Ukrainian Anhelina Kalinina defeated Chinese Lin Zhu 6-3, 7-5 to move into the first round of the Western & Southern Open at the Linder Tennis Family Center in Cincinnati on Monday night.
Kalinina, ranked No 28, will play No 5 seed Ons Jabeur next.
