One of the marquee matchups of the Western & Southern Open first round saw Amanda Anisimova defeat Daria Kasatkina 6-4, 6-4 on Monday afternoon. Anisimova broke serve a whopping six times to advance after one hour and 19 minutes.
It will be an all-American affair in the next round for Anisimova, either against Sofia Kenin or Shelby Rogers.
