Washington Open: Dolehide books spot in last eight
Caroline Dolehide defeated Daria Kasatkina 2-6, 7-5, 6-0 on Thursday night and will play American qualifier Amanda Anisimova in the next round

American Caroline Dolehide reached the quarter-finals of the Washington Open by winning against Russian Daria Kasatkina, the second seed, 2-6, 7-5, 6-0 at the William H.G. FitzGerald Tennis Center on Thursday night.
Dolehide, ranked No 49, will play American qualifier Amanda Anisimova next.
Ahead of her victory, the American edged out Ukrainian Lesia Tsurenko (6-1, 3-6, 6-4).
