Heather Watson won against Elisabetta Cocciaretto 3-6, 7-5, 6-2 on Monday evening and will play the winner of the match between Frenchwoman Chloe Paquet and Canadian wildcard Carol Zhao in the next round
Heather Watson beat Italian Elisabetta Cocciaretto, the No 8 seed, 3-6, 7-5, 6-2 to move into the second round of the Vancouver Open at Hollyburn Country Club on Monday evening.
Watson, ranked No 130, will face the winner of the match between Frenchwoman Chloe Paquet and Canadian wildcard Carol Zhao next.
