Australian Maddison Inglis won against Frenchwoman Harmony Tan 7-6 (3), 1-6, 6-1 to advance to the second round of the Vancouver Open at Hollyburn Country Club on Monday night.
Inglis, ranked No 140, will play the winner of the match between Frenchwoman Kristina Mladenovic and Chinese Xinyu Wang, the No 4 seed, next.
