Dane Clara Tauson moved into the last 16 of the Valencia Open by beating Romanian Jaqueline Cristian 6-4, 7-5 at the Valencia Tennis Club on Tuesday afternoon.
Tauson, ranked No 93, will face the winner of the match between Spanish wildcard Jessica Bouzas Maneiro and Austrian Julia Grabher, the second seed, next.
