Upper Austria Ladies: Third seed Sakkari rolls into last 8

Greek Maria Sakkari, the No 3 seed, moved into the quarter-finals of the Upper Austria Ladies by defeating Bulgarian Viktoriya Tomova 6-3, 6-2 at the TipsArena in Linz on Wednesday evening.

Sakkari, ranked No 31, will face the winner of the match between Ukrainian Dayana Yastremska, the No 5 seed, and Croat qualifier Antonia Ruzic next.

In the previous round of the Linz tournament, Tomova, ranked No 64, won against Spaniard Jessica Bouzas Maneiro (7-6 (7), 6-4).
