Upper Austria Ladies: Muchova brushes aside Sorribes Tormo to move into last eight

Top seed Karolina Muchova moved into the quarter-finals of the Upper Austria Ladies by defeating Spanish qualifier Sara Sorribes Tormo 6-2, 6-3 at the TipsArena in Linz.

Muchova, ranked No 19, will play Russian Anastasia Potapova, the No 6 seed, next.

In the previous round of the Linz tournament, Sorribes Tormo, ranked No 99, won against New Zealander Lulu Sun (6-3, 6-3).
