Romanian Sorana Cirstea won against Dutchwoman Arantxa Rus 5-7, 6-2, 6-3 to advance to the second round of the Upper Austria Ladies at the TipsArena in Linz on Monday evening.
Cirstea, ranked No 70, will face the winner of the match between Dane Clara Tauson, the No 8 seed, and Ukrainian Anhelina Kalinina next.
