Russian Diana Shnaider, the No 6 seed, advanced to the final of the Trophée Clarins by defeating Frenchwoman Varvara Gracheva 6-4, 6-2 on Saturday afternoon.
Shnaider, ranked No 62, will play the winner of the match between American Emma Navarro, the top seed, and Romanian qualifier Elena-Gabriela Ruse next.
Ahead of her victory, the 20-year-old Russian won against Belgian Greet Minnen (6-4, 6-3), French qualifier Elsa Jacquemot (7-5, 4-6, 7-6 (5)) and Erika Andreeva (6-1, 6-2).
Gracheva, ranked No 88, won against Romanian Ana Bogdan, the No 7 seed (4-0 ret.), American Katie Volynets (2-6, 6-2, 6-4) and second seed Katie Boulter (6-3, 7-6 (6)) in the previous rounds.
