Canadian Katherine Sebov reached the last 16 of the Trophée Clarins when Hungarian Anna Bondar retired on Tuesday at the Lagardère Paris Racing.
Sebov, ranked No 145, led 6-3, 3-0 when Bondar, ranked No 93, pulled out on Tuesday at the Lagardère Paris Racing.
The Canadian will face the winner of the match between French lucky loser Elsa Jacquemot and Czech Linda Noskova, the No 4 seed, next.
