Trophée Clarins: Noskova advances to quarter-finals
Linda Noskova defeated Katherine Sebov 7-5, 6-2 on Wednesday and will face the winner of the match between Chinese Yue Yuan and Frenchwoman Diane Parry in the next round
Czech Linda Noskova, the No 4 seed, defeated Canadian Katherine Sebov 7-5, 6-2 to move into the quarter-finals of the Trophée Clarins at the Lagardère Paris Racing on Wednesday.
Noskova, ranked No 54, will face the winner of the match between Chinese Yue Yuan and Frenchwoman Diane Parry next.
The 18-year-old Czech edged out French lucky loser Elsa Jacquemot (6-1, 2-6, 6-4) in the previous round.
During the 32, Sebov, ranked No 145, benefited from the abandonment of Hungarian Anna Bondar (6-3, 3-0).
