American Emma Navarro, the top seed, reached the last four of the Trophée Clarins by winning against Frenchwoman Fiona Ferro 6-3, 6-2 on Friday afternoon.
Navarro, ranked No 22, will play the winner of the match between Frenchwoman Alize Cornet and Romanian qualifier Elena-Gabriela Ruse next.
Earlier in the tournament, the 22-year-old American defeated qualifier Lauren Davis (6-0, 6-0) and Mccartney Kessler (6-1, 6-2).
Ferro, ranked No 149, benefitted from the abandonment of wildcard Lois Boisson (3-6, 6-4, 0-1) and won against Spaniard Cristina Bucsa, the No 8 seed (6-3, 7-6 (6)) in the previous rounds.
