Japanese Nao Hibino defeated Frenchwoman Oceane Dodin 6-1, 6-4 to reach the last 8 of the Trophée Clarins at the Lagardère Paris Racing.
Hibino, ranked No 118, will play American Catherine McNally, the No 6 seed, next.
The Japanese won against American Alycia Parks, the No 3 seed (6-2, 6-4) in the previous round.
During the 32, Dodin, ranked No 99, won against qualifier Chloe Paquet (2-6, 6-4, 6-3).
