Transylvania Open: Snigur books spot in second round

Ukrainian Daria Snigur reached the second round of the Transylvania Open by beating Belgian Greet Minnen, the No 3 seed, 6-3, 6-2 at the BTarena in Cluj-Napoca on Tuesday.
Snigur, ranked No 154, will play the winner of the match between German Anna-Lena Friedsam and Romanian qualifier Ilona Georgiana Ghioroaie next.
