Transylvania Open: Masarova fights back against home hope Bulgaru to make quarter-finals
Rebeka Masarova beat Miriam Bulgaru 3-6, 7-6 (8), 6-0 and will play the winner of the match between Ana Bogdan and Nikola Bartunkova in the next round

Spaniard Rebeka Masarova, the No 4 seed, won against Romanian wildcard Miriam Bulgaru 3-6, 7-6 (8), 6-0 to reach the quarter-finals of the Transylvania Open in Cluj-Napoca.
Masarova, ranked No 67, will face the winner of the match between Romanian Ana Bogdan, the No 5 seed, and wildcard Nikola Bartunkova next.
The Spaniard defeated German Noma Noha Akugue (6-4, 6-0) ahead of her victory.
In the previous round of the Cluj-Napoca tournament, Bulgaru, ranked No 208, beat lucky loser Ipek Oz (7-5, 6-3).
