Transylvania Open: Korpatsch moves into quarter-finals
Tamara Korpatsch edged out Jodie Burrage 2-6, 6-2, 7-6 (5) on Thursday and will play Ukrainian Daria Snigur in the next round

German Tamara Korpatsch edged out No 8 seed Jodie Burrage 2-6, 6-2, 7-6 (5) to reach the last eight of the Transylvania Open at the BTarena in Cluj-Napoca on Thursday.
Korpatsch, ranked No 105, will face Ukrainian Daria Snigur next.
In the previous round of the Cluj-Napoca tournament, the German won against Frenchwoman Leolia Jeanjean (6-4, 2-6, 6-3).
Burrage, ranked No 89, beat Indian Ankita Raina (6-0, 6-2) in the first round of the Cluj-Napoca tournament.
