Yastremska through to second round of Transylvania Open
Dayana Yastremska edged out Tamara Korpatsch 6-3, 4-6, 7-5 and will face the winner of the match between Italian Jasmine Paolini and Ukrainian Marta Kostyuk, the No 6 seed, in the next round
Ukraine’s Dayana Yastremska defeated German lucky loser Tamara Korpatsch 6-3, 4-6, 7-5 to reach the last 16 of the Transylvania Open by Verdino on Monday.
Yastremska, ranked No 94, will play the winner of the match between Italian Jasmine Paolini and Ukrainian Marta Kostyuk, the No 6 seed, next.
