8th seed Bondar reaches second round of Transylvania Open with straight sets win
Bondar will play the winner of the match between French lucky loser Oceane Dodin and Harriet Dart in the next round
Hungary’s Anna Bondar, the No 8 seed, beat Russian qualifier Elina Avanesyan 6-4, 6-2 to advance to the last 16 of the Transylvania Open by Verdino on Monday afternoon.
Bondar, ranked No 62, will face the winner of the match between French lucky loser Oceane Dodin and Harriet Dart next.
