Wildcard Nikola Bartunkova defeated Ukrainian Dayana Yastremska 7-5, 6-4 to move into the second round of the Transylvania Open at the BTarena in Cluj-Napoca on Monday.

Bartunkova, ranked No 289, will face the winner of the match between Romanian Ana Bogdan, the No 5 seed, and Bulgarian Viktoriya Tomova next.
