WTA Toronto: Kalinskaya advances to last 16
Anna Kalinskaya beat Lesia Tsurenko 6-2, 6-2 on Thursday afternoon and will face Amanda Anisimova in the next round

Russian Anna Kalinskaya, the No 10 seed, reached round three of the WTA National Bank Open by winning against Ukrainian Lesia Tsurenko 6-2, 6-2 at the Aviva Centre on Thursday.
Kalinskaya, ranked No 17, will face American Amanda Anisimova on Friday.
The Russian defeated American qualifier Louisa Chirico (6-2, 6-3) in the previous round of the Rogers Cup.
During the first round of the Rogers Cup, Tsurenko, ranked No 85, edged out Canadian wildcard Bianca Andreescu (0-6, 6-3, 6-4).
