WTA Toronto: Anisimova knocks out No 5 seed Kasatkina

American Amanda Anisimova moved into the last 16 of the Toronto Masters by winning against Russian Daria Kasatkina, the No 5 seed, 6-4, 6-3 at the Aviva Centre on Thursday.
This was the fourth consecutive win, all in straight sets, over Kasatkina for the American.
Anisimova, ranked No 132, will face Russian Anna Kalinskaya, the No 10 seed, next. This will be the first meeting between the two on the WTA Tour.
The 22-year-old American defeated Caroline Dolehide (6-1, 6-4) ahead of her victory.
