Spaniard Cristina Bucsa beat Japanese qualifier Rina Saigo 6-1, 6-2 to advance to the last 16 of the Toray Pan Pacific Open Tennis Tournament on Monday night.
Bucsa, ranked No 79, will face second seed Jessica Pegula next.
