Liechtensteiner Kathinka von Deichmann beat Romanian wildcard Patricia Maria Tig 6-2, 6-0 to advance to the final of the Tiriac Foundation Trophy.
Von Deichmann, ranked No 199, will face Romanian Miriam Bulgaru next.
The Liechtensteiner won against Frenchwoman Selena Janicijevic, the No 6 seed (6-1, 6-3), Greek Despina Papamichail (2-6, 6-1, 6-2) and Argentinian Maria Lourdes Carle, the top seed (7-6 (4), 6-4) ahead of her victory.
In the previous rounds, Tig, ranked No 300, won against Irina Bara (6-1, 6-2), No 3 seed Irina-Camelia Begu (6-3, 6-4) and Dutchwoman Anouk Koevermans (6-1, 3-6, 7-5).
