Australian Astra Sharma defeated Swiss Ylena In-Albon 6-2, 6-1 to move into the last 16 of the Tiriac Foundation Trophy on Monday.
Sharma, ranked No 216, will face the winner of the match between Romanian Ana Bogdan, the top seed, and Italian Nuria Brancaccio next.
