Tiriac Foundation Trophy: Errani moves into final
Sara Errani won against Darja Semenistaja 6-3, 6-3 on Saturday night to reach her first WTA final since 2016

Italian Sara Errani, the No 4 seed, defeated Latvian Darja Semenistaja, the No 8 seed, 6-3, 6-3 to reach the final of the Tiriac Foundation Trophy on Saturday night.
In the previous rounds, Errani, ranked No 115, won against Dutch lucky loser Suzan Lamens (6-0, 6-2), Romanian qualifier Maria Sara Popa (6-4, 6-1) and German Noma Noha Akugue, the No 7 seed (7-5, 6-2).
Semenistaja, ranked No 143, won against Berfu Cengiz (6-2, 6-2), Romanian Irina Bara (7-5, 2-6, 7-6 (6)) and Romanian wildcard Anca Alexia Todoni (7-6 (3), 6-4) earlier in the tournament.
