Thoreau Open: Frech books spot in second round
Magdalena Frech beat Anastasia Tikhonova 6-4, 6-2 on Monday evening and will play the winner of the match between Russian Anastasia Gasanova and American Catherine McNally in the next round
Pole Magdalena Frech, the No 4 seed, reached the second round of the Thoreau Open by defeating Russian Anastasia Tikhonova 6-4, 6-2 at Thoreau Tennis club in Concord on Monday evening.
Frech, ranked No 107, will face the winner of the match between Russian Anastasia Gasanova and American Catherine McNally next.
