Thoreau Open: Bonaventure advances to second round defeating No3 seed Gracheva

Belgian Ysaline Bonaventure won against Russian Varvara Gracheva, the No 3 seed, 6-2, 7-5 to move into the second round of the Thoreau Open at Thoreau Tennis club in Concord on Monday.

Bonaventure, ranked No 152, will face the winner of the match between American wildcard Taylor Townsend and Swiss wildcard Lulu Sun next.
