Thailand Open: Wang moves into second round
Xiyu Wang defeated Qiang Wang 6-1, 6-1 on Monday. She’ll play the winner of the match between Hungarian qualifier Dalma Galfi and Australian wildcard Ajla Tomljanovic in the next round

No 5 seed Xiyu Wang reached the second round of the Thailand Open by beating Qiang Wang 6-1, 6-1 at the True Arena Hua Hin on Monday.
Wang, ranked No 63, will face the winner of the match between Hungarian qualifier Dalma Galfi and Australian wildcard Ajla Tomljanovic next.
