Thailand Open: Wang advances to second round, meets Hibino next
The third seed will face Japanese Nao Hibino in the next round
Chinese Xinyu Wang, the No 3 seed, reached the second round of the Thailand Open when American Emina Bektas retired on Monday at the True Arena Hua Hin.
Wang, ranked No 40, led 5-2 when Bektas, ranked No 93, pulled out on Monday at the True Arena Hua Hin.
The 22-year-old Chinese will play Japanese Nao Hibino next.
