Thailand Open: Golubic advances to second round
Viktorija Golubic won against Laura Pigossi 6-1, 6-2 on Monday. She’ll play the winner of the match between Thai wildcard Thasaporn Naklo and Kazakh Yulia Putintseva, the No 7 seed, in the next round

Switzerland’s Viktorija Golubic advanced to the second round of the Thailand Open by defeating Brazilian Laura Pigossi 6-1, 6-2 at the True Arena Hua Hin on Monday.
Golubic, ranked No 71, will face the winner of the match between Thai wildcard Thasaporn Naklo and Kazakh Yulia Putintseva, the No 7 seed, next.
