Andreescu sets up quarter-final against Kostyuk in Thailand
Bianca Andreescu won against Anastasia Zakharova 6-2, 7-5 on Thursday and will play Ukrainian Marta Kostyuk, the No 5 seed, in the next round

Canadian Bianca Andreescu, the top seed, advanced to the quarter-finals of the Thailand Open by winning against Russian Anastasia Zakharova 6-2, 7-5 at the True Arena Hua Hin on Thursday.
Andreescu, ranked No 42, will play Ukrainian Marta Kostyuk, the No 5 seed, next.
Ahead of her victory, the 22-year-old Canadian defeated Harriet Dart (6-3, 6-4).
Zakharova, ranked No 186, beat Slovak Anna Karolina Schmiedlova (3-6, 7-5, 6-3) in the previous round of the Hua Hin tournament.
