Spaniard Rebeka Masarova reached the last 16 of the Thailand Open 2 by edging out Hungarian Anna Bondar 3-6, 7-6 (2), 7-5 on Tuesday.
Masarova, ranked No 119, will face the winner of the match between Chinese Xinyu Wang, the No 3 seed, and Egyptian Mayar Sherif next.
