Pole Magda Linette, the No 4 seed, beat Ukrainian Lesia Tsurenko 6-2, 7-5 to move into the last 16 of the Thailand Open 2 on Tuesday.
Linette, ranked No 43, will face the winner of the match between Thai qualifier Mananchaya Sawangkaew and Slovak Rebecca Sramkova next.
