Bernarda Pera beat wildcard Sofia Kenin 6-2, 5-7, 6-3 to reach the semi-finals of the Tennis in the Land at Cleveland’s iconic Jacobs Pavilion at Nautica in Flats West Bank on Thursday night.
Pera, ranked No 51, will face Russian Liudmila Samsonova next. The American has now won 13 consecutive matches at tour-level, dating back to her maiden title run at Budapest in July.
