Tampico Open: Bektas makes second round
Emina Bektas won against Renata Zarazua 6-2, 6-4 on Tuesday night and will face the winner of the match between Australian Ajla Tomljanovic and American Whitney Osuigwe in the next round

American Emina Bektas, the No 6 seed, beat Mexican Renata Zarazua 6-2, 6-4 to advance to the second round of the Tampico Open at the Centro Libanés Mexicano de Tampico on Tuesday night.
Bektas, ranked No 104, will face the winner of the match between Australian Ajla Tomljanovic and American Whitney Osuigwe next.
